In the case of US Domestic Infant Adoption, it’s about babies; newborns, often, but they’re still called babies until they hit about eighteen months.


Adoptions will be taking place through voluntary relinquishment of a child by the parent or parents to an agency, or directly to the adoptive parents via agency, adoption attorney, or facilitator, including designated adoptions where a match is made between expectant parents and adoptive parents before the birth of the child.
