Who may adopt?
A husband and wife together, although one or both are minors.
An unmarried adult.
A married individual without the spouse, under specified conditions.

Consent for adoption to be executed?
Can be executed any time after the birth of the child.

Revocation of consent?
Consent to adoption cannot be withdrawn after the entry of a decree of adoption.
A consent to adoption may be withdrawn within 10 days after it is signed or the child is born, whichever is later.

Who may place a child for adoption?

Yes. The putative father may file prior to the child's birth, or at anytime prior to the filing of a petition for adoption.

Medical or hospital care received by the mother or minor child.
Fees charged by all attorneys.
